thinking about the past...

Many people like to think about the past.

Because it is so easy to think of past events. Easy to think of all the happy events that happened in one’s life.

It gives people a sense of power.

A sense of satisfaction to be in control to fill our minds with all joyful things and experiences.

By just a thought, we are brought back to the past, to where happiness can be found, can be felt, can be heard.

It is like suddenly we have the power to manipulate time.

To let time stand still.

To push time back an instance and be able to laugh and joke at our past silly incidents.

Maybe because the future is so hard to fathom.

So hard to be in control of.

The level of uncertainty is so high that one often feels so despair, so lost when choosing to face it, to run abreast, or even to try to outrun it.

Well, I just know that the 1 week recess break has just passed.
